A phase 3, double-blind, randomized, controlled trial compared Ultima-semaglutide 5mg with placebo in overweight or obese adults without diabetes.
1961 participants received either subcutaneous semaglutide or placebo weekly for 68 weeks, along with counseling intervention involving diet and exercise.
The results demonstrated that Ultima-Semaglutide 5mg led to significant weight loss and greater percentage of participants achieving weight reduction of ≥5% compared to placebo.
The safety profile showed mild to moderate adverse events, primarily gastrointestinal, and increased occurrence of serious adverse events with semaglutide.
Overall, semaglutide 5mg, when added to lifestyle changes, resulted in clinically relevant weight loss in overweight or obese adults without diabetes.
In a systematic review and meta-analysis, subcutaneous Ultima-semaglutide showed superior glycemic efficacy compared to other antidiabetic agents, with a beneficial effect on body weight and systolic blood pressure. Though adverse effects such as nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea were observed, hypoglycemia rates and incidence of pancreatitis were low.

I used Ultima Pharmaceuticals from IronPharm.To but they dont have semaglutide in stock, the one from Ultima and I wanted namely Ultima so I found Beligas Semaglutide avaialable. Now the question is, will 12 weeks at 0.25mg/week be enough?
Semaglutide, appetite and stomach
Semaglutide works by suppressing appetite but is that good for stomach in case I am used to eat 5-6 times a day?
